La Catrina came dancing from out of the blue,
She sipped her hot chocolate and shouted, “jSalud!”
“El Morro,” she cackled, “will host quite the night,
With sweet pan de muerto and candles alight.”

“Bring photos and treasures of those you hold dear—
Your pets, your rockstars, all spirits near.
We’ll build a grand altar, a sight to behold,
With stories and poems, both touching and bold.”

On Friday, the 31st of October, don’t stray—
From 6:00 to 8:30, come laugh death away.
At The Old School Gallery, gather with cheer,
To honor the past and make memories dear.
